I am currently researching my mothers whakapapa, her name was Nancy hinehou (waiwhakaata was her birth name) Maxwell.
I am trying to find links to my Nannys whanau, her name was (Te) Mateputuputu Rihimona, she was born and lived in Torere.She was once upon a time married to Hare(Harry) Maxwell (sorry I have no dates as yet).Harry and my nanny had a daughter Sophia Te Paea Maxwell (deceased) who married a Wirepa.Nanny mateputuputu also had another daughter apart from my mum and Aunty Sophia and her name is Elizabeth Black.
My great Grandmothers name was : Te oria Tuauri who married my Great Grandfather Rehua Rihimona.
There is knowledge that they had a son Tom Rihimona , killed in the war.
