Looking to make contact with anyone knowing about this family - late 1800's - early 1900's, I have the names Hemara Tawaewae & Oti Tawaewae.

They have interests in Maunu, Whangarei, doing my Whakapapa & they appear to be closely tied with my GGG grandmother & her brother, I am trying to figure out where the link is 🙂

Cheers
Andy

I am lead to believe Oti may have resided at Ahipara - I have a letter dated 1911 & I reads as if he lives there.

Cheers

Oti may also have been know as Whakaotinga Tawaewae.
