Hi!

Looking for any information about John Whare Taylor.
Here's what I DO know:
*Born in Kaitaia, 1933. (Died in Christchurch, 19/12/1984)
*Had three children with Sylvia Lawrence (nee Fowke)- John, Julie, Jeanie

Does anyone know the names of John's parents?
Does anyone know the iwi or iwi's to which John belongs? (I have repeatedly heard Ngati Kahungunu, but am unsure of the connection or truth)

Any information would be much appreciated!!

Thanks,
Bellzy

Kia ora Bellzy,

There is a large Taylor whanau from up Kaitaia ways so I am wondering if maybe John Taylor could be part of that whanau because he was born there.

One way to find out would be to ring 09 409 8151 which is the Ngati Kuri Trust Board and ask them if they know of John and his children.

If they don't they would probably be able to give you a Taylor contact who may be able to help you!

Good Luck! 🙂
