1. Can anyone give me any information on either or both of these 2 Tupuna please?
2. Does anyone have any information regarding Tikinui?
3. Are Te Rangi, Tui, and Tikinui related.

I would really appreciate any info available, I have conflicting story regarding all 3 and their relationship to each other. All 3 are Ngapuhi

Many thanks for any help.

Sunny

Hi Sunny,

My family have Te Rangi as a middle name. It was given to my Great-great Grandfather when he was a boy. He was adopted into a Maori family and given a Maori name so that he was able to buy land. His name was Henry Te Rangi CROSS, he eventually married a lady called Connie Joyce.
My family is Ngapuhi also.

Hope this helps somehow 🙂

Hi Aimeemac so sorry I haven't been on the site for a bit. Thank you for your reply. I haven't come across your great great grandfather in my research, but I will take another look as you have given me his wife's name so that might help. the above mentioned in my post are my ancestors, but having problems sorting out whose who! lol It doesn't help when they have the same names down the generations either 🙂 I will let you know how I get on, they didnt mention females all that much in our history so its a long shot but I will look for your grt grt grandfather an grandmother, Again many thanks for you help
