Paora Te Koi: His wife was called Ihia. Ihia had a brother called Taraho. From the Taraho whanau come Tamihana Tunui whanau.
Paora & Ihia son Waata: His wife was Ritihia Huaimaiterangi Te Putu. Her brother was Kerei TePutu.
Waata & Ritihia had Paeroa. Paeroa's husband was John Noble (halfcaste). John Noble's Maori mother was from Ngati Mahanga.
John & Paeroa had Tukotahi Jack Noble who married Rangiweu Thompson. Their son Tukotahi Herewaka Wharara married Peti Manuel (my parents).

I'm looking for connections to Ihia and Paora Te Koi. They lived in the period c. 1850s-1915

These people whakapapa to Waikato; particularly Ngati Tipa; Ngati Mahanga; Ngati Teata; Ngati Karewa.

I may also be contacted by email at eddam@xtra.co.nz and thru the whakapapa club.

There are two short uplines for Ihia & Te Putu in Te Puea & Hemi Erueti's papers held by the Mormon Church plus several downlines. Otherwise MaoriLandCt, Moerangi block records for N'Mahanga-Paratai interests. I need to sort my papers out & will email you with more details
