Does anyone know anything about Ringawhaakatu,(Katu?) Waaka/Walker, maybe from Ahipara? She had a son Robert(Bob) Walker,(1930 - 2005), who lived in Taranaki, was whangai to someone in Hamilton. She may have been Katu Kawharu who married Wi Waaka in 1909.

Kia ora,

My grandpa had a sister called ringawhakatu walker/waaka .. She was the eldest daughter of his family, dont know much about her tho, i wander if shes the same person your searching for, do you know anything else ? How many siblings she had ? parent name ?

I do know my grandpas father is from tauranga/waikato, and majority of his siblings lived down there, so her being whangai to hamilton makes sense if theyre from down there .. Who was the whangai family ? Tahu ?
