I believe that MereruaWahine Walker or Ngata was my mothers grandmother. My mother's first cousin, the late Dr Paretene Ngata, gave my daughter the family name of MereruaWahine, which was also Dr Pat's sister's name. However, I have no idea who my whanau are on this side of the family or how to contact them. Also, I live in Taranaki and have only been back to Tolega Bay twice in the last 10 years, which does make it harder.

Hi, I'm just wondering if you have since made connection with whanau as I notice this post is from 2013 😉
