The 'REWHA' whanau come to mind.... in particular the uri o Henare Rewha me tona wahine Te Paea. Te Paea being the grand-daughter of Hori Kati Takiwaru raua ko Matire Toha.
Te Puea Marae would be a good place to start in Mangere. I think some of the descendants still live in and about Mangere.
I myself am a descendant of Matire Toha's younger brother Te Warana Maanu.
