Kia ora,

Seeing as you are looking for the Paratene whanau you should change the title to PARATENE, Te Ohu - when I first searched I looked for WILLIAMS, Ngataria 😀

Take a look at https://www.familysearch.org/search/tree/results?count=20&query=%2Bsurname%3AKaweka~%20%2Bany_place%3A%22new%20zealand%22~ as there could be records in there that may help you.

You can then change the names in the search box on the left but keep the country set to New Zealand. Sometimes it is better to search for just a surname as you never know who you will find.

NOTE: Not all of the info in that site is accurate but it is a good place to start.

Good luck!! 🙂

Naku te raurau,
