February- MÃ¤ori transliteration is Pepuere but the MÃ¤ori word we use in immersion MÃ¤ori schools is Hui Tanguru

Tika tou Nani, the word we use in Ngapuhi (which was from Te Riri Kawiti) is Te Iwa o Ngahuru. This is also because Ngahuru is Autumn and this is the ninth month (as per the Maori Maramataka), so means the ninth month in Autumn.
