Whakapapa researchers and libraries
Kia ora ki a koutou katoa,
My name is Moata Tamaira and I am currently enrolled at "Library school" at Victoria University and I'm doing a Masters research project on whakapapa researchers.
Since I have been working in libraries for the last 5 years I've taken advantage of the resources and staff at my workplace to do some mahi on my own whakapapa but have noticed that many other Maori miss out on so much of what is available in libraries to help them with their research.
The ultimate aim of my research project will be to improve public library service to whakapapa researchers.
Please visit my blog http://www.searching4tupuna.blogspot.com/ to add your feedback and opinions as this will really help me a lot.
