Hi there. I am now looking for more information regarding my family, Barbarich and marae, Waikari at Mount Maunganui...
I have been receiving some wonderful help from Erin, but think I should publish this hoping that someone else may know some of my grandparents roots! His name was James Barbalich and he is buried in Rotorua. Any information you have would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

It may help if you go home to Waikari Marae, ask our kaumatuas. As they say you wanna learn - come home, even if its for a couple of hours, a day, a month - at least you'll gain the knowledge of our whakapapa.
