Hi Lucy, Peter Manu Taputoro and Katarina Ropata Taputoro are my great grandperants who had Heremiah Jerry Taputoro my grandfather. Maree Sayle (Maddin name Taputoro)is my mother daughter to Heremiah Taputoro. I will have a talk to my mum and see what she knows, my uncle Gerald would be the one to know all about her I will get back to ASAP.
Hi, the Keenan whanau played a big part in Taranaki from around the 1820's. Then moved down around Kapiti and settling at the top of the South Island after the 1832 heke. Maybe have a look at Puke Ariki and The Prow websites.
My 6x great grandfather was Potaka Taniwha of Te Ati Awa.
