My Uncle is Danny (Takitimu) Timu, is of Kahungungu descent and resides in Manurewa, Auckland. He is the eldest of his siblings and I am sure that if you need further assistance with your whakapap, he would be happy to help you. If you are residing in Aotearoa give this number a try: (09) 268 9133. All the best!

Hi I am posting on behalf of Lyall Baird, She is keen to contact any of the descendents of jack lee and Sarah Timu. She already has some information on them.
her info is
Sarah Timu = Jack Lee
who had Maraea Lee who married a Baird (Elisabeths sister)
who had Ernest Baird who married Ann Burrows
Her father was Aubrey Ernest Burrows Baird.
She has already compiled some info, but would love to be in contact with other descendents, and share more information.
If you would like to contact her please email me on
